Newspaper in Education (NIE) is an innovative program that brings the newspaper into the classroom as a teaching tool. The students of class VI to VIII read the NIE paper in the class and are assessed periodically.This Program encourages them to read news papers regularly. Experts from The Hindu will conduct NIE Programme of about six in a year.
Topics are announced by the principal during the school assembly for discussion in the class. This will help the students to become aware of the day to day events in the world.
