An opportunity for every child is the main aim of fostering the house system in Senthil public School. It aims to give students an identity and sense of pride in a supportive and secure environment. It also helps the new staff and students to adapt to the culture of our school.
Our school follows four house systems. Each house is identified with a particular colour. They are:
Each House is appointed with Mistress and Assistant Mistress to organize, guide and encourage the student in the event.
The House system is a longstanding tradition in many schools, where students are divided into different houses or teams that compete with each other in various activities throughout the academic year.
The Emerald house conduct community service activities to instill a sense of social responsibility in students. They conduct team-building activities to develop leadership and collaboration skills.
In the Ruby house, they promote healthy competition and camaraderie among students, as they work together towards common goals and support each other in their respective pursuits. They also conduct mentorship programs to provide guidance and support to students.
The Topaz house plays an important role in promoting a well-rounded education and holistic development of students, fostering a sense of community and instilling values such as teamwork, leadership, and social responsibility.
