We, VI to VIII compartment of Senthil Public School have organized Orientation and Awareness Program by Dr.Susithra, M.B.B.S, D.G.O., (Senior Assistant Professor of Government Medical College, Dharmapuri, Secretary of Dharmapuri, OG society.) and Dr.Poonguzhali, M.B.B.S, M.D., (Assistant Professor of Government Medical College, Dharmapuri.) for the VI to VIII Category girls on Mental and Social Health of Adolescents and Menstrual health and hygiene on 23.01.2024(Tuesday) in the seminar hall of Senthil Public School, Dharmapuri from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The main objective of conducting this orientation program is to make the girls aware of teen safety, social anxiety, cyber bullying, POCSO act, menstrual hygiene, physical and mental health during their adolescence period and to make them understand the importance of self-hygiene. Through this awareness program, girls have learnt to take care of their physical and mental wellness.
