Our Mission:
- The initiative "Planting the Saplings in Our School Garden" was undertaken with the aim of enhancing the school's environment, promoting environmental consciousness among students, and contributing to a greener and more sustainable future.
- This report provides an overview of the activities involved, the participation of students and staff, the types of saplings planted and the anticipated impact on the school community and the environment.
Agenda:
- Prior to the planting event, a variety of saplings were carefully selected based on their adaptability to the local climate, their contribution to biodiversity and their educational value.
- The Eco club, along with enthusiastic students and teachers, prepared the designated areas for planting. This involved clearing the space, improving the soil quality and ensuring adequate drainage.
- The planting event took place with great enthusiasm in the presence of Principal, Vice-Principal, Academic Coordinators of all the categories and Eco Club members.
- Students actively participated, donning gardening gloves and carrying small shovels to plant the saplings.
- Club presidents supervised and provided guidance during the process.
- The event was not merely about planting trees; it was also an opportunity to educate students about the importance of trees in mitigating climate change, improving air quality and supporting local wildlife.
- The significance of nurturing and caring for the saplings was emphasized to instill a sense of responsibility towards the environment.
