We, compartment of VI to VIII have taken the children of Class VI to field trip to “AKG Nursery, Dharmapuri” on 06th November 2023 (Monday) from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Through this field trip, children gained a deeper understanding of grafting, nutritional value of plants, disease resistance and production of high yielding crops. The field trip to the nursery garden proved to be an enriching experience for the children. Children had the opportunity to interact with the experts of the field, encouraging their curiosity and interests in the field.
The field trip to AKG Nursery was a successful educational experience that enriched the children’s knowledge of plants and provided a practical platform for them to apply in their classroom learning and fostered a sense of responsibility toward the nature and the environment.
