The Pupil Saveetha Eco School organised the CBSE Zonal Level Taekwondo Competition from 13 October 2023 to 16 October 2023, where several students from various prestigious schools from south zone Participated. Two of Our students were awarded Gold and Silver medal and they are selected for National Level which will be conducted in Uttar Pradesh. The details of the students are as follows:
1. Selvi. Mahasswetha J.K won the Gold medal with certificate in under 17 category (below 59 kg)
2. Selvi. Eniya Varshini V bagged the silver medal with certificate in under 19 category (below 64kg)
Public School adds one more feather to its crown, Selvi R.V. Shruthisree has secured 1st place and won Gold medal in 47 kg category sub junior and junior category in State Bench Press Championship under equipped and classic. She has also secured 3rd place and won Bronze medal in 47 kg category sub junior and junior in State Powerlifting Championship 2023 held at Coimbatore from 22nd September 2023 to 24th September 2023. She was selected for National level equipped Bench press Championship 2023 which will be held at Bangalore from 22nd November 2023 to 26th November 2023. The Children were encouraged and lauded for their efforts and achievements.
